The architectural proposal: a period house in front of a contemporary building with great aesthetic value. Unique place in the city that responds to the current needs of the area.

Located in the Lafayette neighborhood, Casa Bosque Eduviges is the living experience of open spaces within the home. Large windows that give the opportunity to look out. We share the memory and culture of this area, which began to be populated more than 100 years ago and which today is part of the cultural heritage of Jalisco.

The exact date of the construction of the house is unknown, but due to its eclectic style and the few Art Nouveau ornaments, it may have been built between 1910 and 1930. Its French style is due to the influence it brought to many parts of the country, the former president Porfirio Diaz.

This house is part of the hygienist movement, a European architectural trend, which promoted oxygenation from open spaces, prioritizing lighting and sanitation in buildings.

The House is located on the street that one day was the path to reach a forest called Santa Eduviges. This green area was notorious for its extensive number of eucalyptus trees as well as the various water sources.
